Alonso Varela is a Production VFX Supervisor and founder of Jimsonweed Studios, with over 25 years of international experience across film and television.

His career has taken him through some of the world’s leading production hubs including the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, New Zealand and Asia, contributing to major studio films and high-end episodic productions.

His credits include Napoleon, The Witcher S.3, The Boys S.3, Avatar: The Way of Water, The Jungle Book, Ex Machina, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, War for the Planet of the Apes and many others.
